If you watch this video, you would learn what the intention of Mahn Nyein Maung is. If someone said Mahn Nyein Maung is an agent of Military regime. Where is evidence? You cannot judge from rumors and hear says. You can judge from his speech, his actions and his behaviors. Mahn Nyein Maung went through very tough life as a political prisoner. He escaped from life in prison in KO KO Island. He survived from death situation so many times. Mahn Nyein Maung is very humble and honestly said what he believe about democracy, human rights and freedom not only for Karen, but also for all ethnic races of Burma and all citizens. I have read few comments criticizing him so negatively. In fact, all those people who criticized him know very little about Mahn Nyein, or never experienced the hardship what he had suffered in his life. Nobody is perfect in this world. Everyone has strength and weaknesses. We need to see all sides of individual persons. Some kinds of comments support regime’s goal of splitting Karen resistant unwittingly. If you watch the video carefully, you would see that he made very smart speech the historical facts about how KNU took the path of armed struggle. He is very diplomatic and skillful in his speech and carefully presented without hurting to anybody’s feeling. I hope you can learn something from him if you people are smart enough.
