Anonymous said...: it is very nice..festival for the whole people in kachin state. But if i am not wrong, the number of the attendants is very few..compare to last year as this year is under the control of the Military Junta.
Idealogically, Manau festival is the image of Democracy, freedom from all fears, of the kachin people and their unity and strengh, in some way, people power. But now it was exploited by Military Junta. But politically, junta choiced the wrong way in this case. It means they lose among kachin.; January 9, 2011 at 8:03 PM
